The final spring TT of 2016 took place at the Beehive Sunday morning 3 April. The weather was not so kind to us, but nonethless 17 athletes turned out for the 08:30 start time. We split into 2 start waves but the bike field splintered fairly quickly with Ron setting a blistering pace from the front. John O’Leary punctured at around 8km but managed to get going again to finish the race. Ron never let up on the bike and led the two Eds into T1. Ed C caught Ron on the run to finish first overall, with Ron second and Eddie O’R a close third. Well done to Paul who recorded the fastest 8 km run split of 35:26.
