T3 had members participating in all 3 races on Saturday last in Athy. Well done to Mark Foran (5:34) and Ruth Shanahan (6:00) for completing the Double Olympic – a great foundation for the season ahead. Well done also to former T3ers Mark Doyle (3rd overall) and Paul Griffin (29th overall).
Eleven T3ers competed in the Olympic distance. Congratulations to John O’Leary who came first in his age group in a time of 2:29. Of the T3ers, first home was Ed Crotty in 2:26 followed by Dave Hanlon 2:28 and then John O’Leary in third. T3 Olympic results can be viewed here.
Finally we had five athletes completing in the sprint race, led home by Paul Cullen in 1:25, followed by Zoe and Brian Murphy. Sprint results are here.
